Material and Method: A specimen of ruptured uterus with cervix in two fragments was received. Both fragments showed rough, grayish black, irregular area at the ruptured junction, which was adherent placental tissue. Representative sections were taken from received specimen and after routine processing; sections were stained with Haematoxyline and Eosin. Result: Grossly, the rough, irregular, grayish black area resembling placental tissue was seen adhering to the endomyometrium up to the serosa. Microscopically, sections from these areas showed chorionic villi invading myometrial tissue up to the serosa without any intervening decidua. This was reported to be placenta percreta. Conclusion: Placenta percreta is believed to represent 5 % of all cases of adherent placenta but it is now on the rise due to increased caesarean sections. In this case report, 25 years old female, at 14 weeks of gestation, with history of previous caesarean section, presented with haemoperitoneum, shock, uterine rupture followed by hysterectomy. Thus, in all patients with such history, morbid placental adhesions should be ruled out radiologically in the first trimester. If suspected, patient should be counselled for emergency hysterectomy and confirmation must be done by histopathological examination.&#xD;

The profunda brachii artery - 1 was originated from the posteromedial aspect of the brachial artery, distal to teres major muscle. The profunda brachii artery &#x2013; 2 was originated from the posterior circumflex humeral artery in quadrangular space around the surgical neck of the humerus. The profunda brachii artery - 2 divided into the anterior descending (Radial collateral) &amp; the posterior desending (middle collateral) arteries. The profunda brachii artery &#x2013; 1 gives nutrient artery to the humerus and runs with posterior desending (middle collateral) artery and ends by anastomosing with interosseous recurrent artery behind the lateral epicondyle. The photographs of the variations were taken for proper documentation. The presence of double profunda brachii arteries in the radial groove may result in excessive haemorrhage during fractures. Topographical anatomy of the normal and abnormal variations of the brachial artery is clinically important for surgeons, orthopaedicians and radiologists performing angiographic studies on the upper limb.&#xD;

A case of 55 years old, Muslim, female with history of coronary artery bypass graft 7 years back, met with road traffic accident followed by head injury and admitted in hospital for the same. After complete careful examination and investigations, doctors came to know that she had subarachnoid and subpial hemorrhage along with fracture of left forearm bones and treated accordingly. She survived for 10 days in hospital under treatment and died suddenly without any significant cause. On autopsy examination, haemopericardium as a result of cardiac rupture was found to be the cause of sudden death.&#xD;

Whether these prescription related issues differ between the elderly and the young has not been well studied which is important to develop specific measures to improve the quality of drug use. Objective: The objective of this study is to describe the psychotropic drug utilization in psychiatry inpatients with regard to age and gender in a tertiary health care setting in India. Research Methodology: The hospital records of all psychiatry inpatients above 18 years of age admitted over a period of two years were studied for use of various psychotropic drugs with regard to age and gender. Patients&#x2019; &#x2265; 65 years of age were considered elderly. Results: 12.2% of the total sample comprised of elderly patients. 41.8% of the patients were females with the percentage being significantly more in the elderly group. Increased use of anxiolytics in younger patients was statistically significant (p</Abstract><AbstractLanguage>English</AbstractLanguage><Keywords>Psychotropics, Elderly, Gender, Drug utilization</Keywords><URLs><Abstract>http://ijcrr.com/abstract.php?article_id=33</Abstract><Fulltext>http://ijcrr.com/article_html.php?did=33</Fulltext></URLs></Article></ArticleSet><ArticleSet><Article><Journal><PublisherName>Radiance Research Academy</PublisherName><JournalTitle>International Journal of Current Research and Review</JournalTitle><PISSN>2231-2196</PISSN><EISSN>0975-5241</EISSN><Volume>03</Volume><Issue>04</Issue><IssueLanguage>English</IssueLanguage><SpecialIssue>N</SpecialIssue><PubDate><Year>2012</Year><Month>December</Month><Day>31</Day></PubDate></Journal><ArticleType>Healthcare</ArticleType><ArticleTitle>DELAYED DEATH AFTER SURVIVAL PERIOD OF 28 DAYS IN CASE OF HANGING -&#xA0;A RARE CASE REPORT&#xD;

We presented here a case of hanging, in which death occurred after 28 days of incident. A female had committed suicidal attempt by hanging herself at home and saved at that time, then referred to hospital and treated accordingly, but at the end of 28 days, female died due to irreversible brain damage and respiratory arrest. We reported this case for its rarity, for the discussion of the possible delayed causes of death in case of hanging, to explain the circumstances of such a possibility and to emphasize the importance of forensic medicine experts to give final opinion regarding the cause of death by post mortem examination.&#xD;
